ABOUT THE SHOW Conversations with Joan is a community and public affairs talk show covering entertainment, politics, social issues and the arts. The show features local, state and national guests and includes a "Lowcountry Happenings" segment. Conversations with Joan originates from the beautiful campus of the College of Charleston and has been on-air since September 29, 1995. The show is hosted and produced by Joan Mack, Assistant Director of College Relations & Media Communications at the College. Mack says she wants to create informative, thought-provoking, and enriching radio programming. Conversations with Joan airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on these South Carolina Public Radio stations:
